Santa Fe Master Food Preserver Class

Family Consumer Science Agent, Cydney Martin, is offering several cooking classes to the public at a reduced rate, through NMSU Santa Fe County Cooperative Extension Service. The classes will be conducted at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, 3229 Rodeo Rd, in the kitchen and classroom. The times are 8:30am – 12:00pm. People enrolled in all 5 classes and are going to complete the Master Food Preservers program, get first dibs. Enrollment is limited so don’t delay! If you are interested in becoming a Master Food Preserver, please email your mailing address or call 505-471-4711 and you will be sent a packet with more information. To attend single classes (regular enrollment) is $15.00 each. Class offerings are below:

April 6th, “Freezing and Drying”
April 13th, “Jams, Jellies and Spreads”
April 20th, “Fruits and Tomatoes”
April 27th, “Pressure Canning”
May 4th, “Pickles and Salsas”
May 11th, test and finish
