Being a member of La Montanita means more than shopping at our natural foods grocery stores. By supporting La Montanita, you also are supporting a number of our community programs and initiatives.

Partnerships

As a community owned organization La Montanita partners with a variety of community-based organizations in the hopes of creating a sustainable future for us all. We place numerous volunteers in a wide variety of non-profits including: peace, social justice and environmental organizations to help build the capacity of those organizations.

Volunteerism

If you share our cooperative values, enjoy interacting with people and want to contribute in a positive and beneficial way we’d like to hear from you! Throughout the year volunteers are needed, from a one-time event to a short-term commitment. There are many ways to get involved within the store and community. To show our appreciation, we offer an 18% discount shopping cards. Each card allows the card holder one shopping trip at an 18% discount. Volunteers get one card for each hour of service rendered.
