When three hundred families came together to source healthy food for their community in a little store on the corner of Central and Girard on Route 66 in Albuquerque. Since then, we’ve grown to now serve 15,000+ members and the greater community at our four locations—two in Albuquerque, and one in Santa Fe and Gallup. Plus, in 2008, we started a little thing called the Distribution Center (DC). 

We’re one of five co-ops with a distribution center in the country, and we mean serious business. Located in Albuquerque, our DC has an exceptional team dedicated to supporting local farmers, ranchers, and producers by helping them grow their businesses through training, access to loans and grants, marketing support, and selling their products to not only our stores but other retailers throughout New Mexico.

While we’ve grown considerably since our inception, our mission remains to nourish our communities—while continuing to invest in our team, our vendors, our regional foodshed, and the community at large.
